Zion National Park Lodging
Zion Park is one of our personal favorites. The Virgin River has been carving the walls of Zion for millennia, meandering through this beautiful valley. The Zion Lodge nestled along the river between two canyon walls is the only lodging located inside the park. Zion National Park is a “bus only” park and visitors with lodge reservations are the only one’s permitted to drive into the park. All others must park and ride, lodge reservations are a nice benefit.
The village of Springdale located just outside the park offers many diverse lodging options. They have a campground also located next to the river. We like to rent tubes, ride into the park hit the river and float back to town. For more information on lodging, restaurant and things to do please visit the Zion Canyon Visitors Bureau.
The Zion Lodge

Motel rooms are also available, most with queen-size beds and some with a king-size bed, full bath and private porch or balcony. All rooms feature air conditioning, phones, radio alarm clocks and hairdryers. The lodge is open year-round, featuring special winter rates and packages December through mid-March. Red Rock Grill, Zion Lodge's recently renovated dining room, boasts spectacular views of the magnificent surroundings. Reservations are required. Casual, outdoor dining can be found at the seasonal Castle Dome Cafe, which offers relaxed seating and park fare favorites.
